Comedy Event on Feb. 9 to Benefit SAAHJ Scholarship Program!
Last year, SAAHJ awarded $25,000 in scholarships to to a new generation of journalists and media professionals. As we kick off the new year, you can help SAAHJ continue its support of deserving San Antonio students!
Here’s how you can help:
- Purchase tickets for one of three shows (4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.) presented by Door to Door Comedy on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.
- When you purchase your tickets HERE, designate SAAHJ as the benefactor of your purchase.
- 50% of your ticket sale will go toward the SAAHJ scholarship program!
Tickets are $12. All performances take place at TriPoint Grantham Center, 3233 N. St. Mary’s Street.
SAAHJ and several other nonprofit groups in San Antonio will be benefactors of this show.

NAHJ/SAAHJ Regional Conference was a big success!
Dear SAAHJ Members:
Thanks to all of you who attended the NAHJ/SAAHJ regional conference. It was a huge success! We had planned for about 100 participants, and 175 folks attended! The feedback from participants was incredible. A big shout out to the committee members who made it all happen: Elaine Ayala , Francisco Vara-Orta, Tessa Benavides, Jessica Elizarraras, Neal Morton, Ana Ley, Javier Flores, Michael Quintanilla and Sam Belilty.
